Our two-bedroom cottage sleeps up to 4 people (1 double, and 2 single beds). It has a fully equipped kitchen, with a comfortable, open plan living space, a downstairs WC/shower room, and a light and bright south-facing conservatory with stunning views and garden area to the front.
Yes, we provide free on-site parking for our guests for up to three cars.
Whilst there is public transport, it is sporadic, so we recommend your bring a vehicle to ensure easy access to the surrounding attractions.
We welcome up to two well-behaved pets at Garden Cottage Retreat. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring your furry friend! Dogs must remain on leads in the garden area due to livestock.
The cottage is just a 10-minute drive from the cathedral city of Hereford, allowing easy access to its attractions and amenities. We are 10 minutes from the renowned Under the Nut Tree open fire dining experience, and 15 minutes from Oldfield Forge in Garway.
Guests can enjoy historical sites, riverside walks, as well as local market town exploration, including Hay-on-Wye and Abergavenny. Pony trekking is available in the Black Mountains, plus archery, paintball and axe throwing at The Viking Games. and blacksmithing at Oldfield Forge (pre-booking essential!).
